Amanda & Ricky’s Boho Wedding

January 13, 2018

Meet Amanda and Ricky, you may remember them from their desert engagement session. On January 6th these two lovers vowed to love each other through thick and thin at the Gather Estates in Mesa. When I initially met Amanda and Ricky one week after their engagement they had almost their whole wedding planned… no joke, from the colors, to the center pieces, they were on top of it! I was beyond excited to capture their wedding day because when Amanda started describing it, I knew it was going to be amazing… and it was! This girl is a DIY goddess, she hand crafted just about everything at her wedding… from their guestbook, to their bouquets, center pieces & even their CAKE! I totally thought everything was done by a professional! These two built their relationship over the Scrabble board, so there were little Scrabble details throughout the wedding. From their guestbook being a game board & their sweetheart table center pieces. A little touch of them was everywhere at the wedding.

Beyond all the perfectly planned details, this day was something special filled with tears, laughs & lots of new memories. Ricky’s tear filled reaction while seeing his bride for the first time was just the sweetest to capture. These two wrote their own vows for each other. With a ton of tears in each of their eyes, they vowed to love each other unconditionally through the hills and valleys of life! To celebrate their commitment to one another, they had an intimate reception at Gather Estates. I absolutely love this venue because it has such a backyard feel to it.  With string lights, yard games & a dance floor, Gather Estates made for the greatest celebration venue for Ricky & Amanda.

Ricky and Amanda’s wedding was the perfect way to kick off my 2018 wedding season! Here are just a few of my many favorites from their intimate wedding day that I am so eager to share with you!!!

Congratulations to Ricky & Amanda!
